Every once in a while, a getaway is something we all need and deserve. I can’t even tell you how well appreciated this weekend getaway truly was. Getting away with my loved ones, somewhere far away from home and routines, being together and having a good time was honestly ah-mazing!
It’s important that you get away from time to time; it doesn’t necesarily mean that you have to book an exotic trip to Mauritius or a staycation in London, it only means that from now and then you step back from work & worries, and take some time off to relax and do the things you love most, either alone or with friends & family.
You don’t need to travel somewhere or do something adventurous, all you should do is to create some time just for yourself in order to relax and enjoy the little things in life you’ve been missing on. A day or the whole weekend – it’s really up to you, but make sure you truly unplug for a little while! That means spending more time offline than online. Sorry.
We rented a cabin in Vågslid // Haukelifjell, which is basically a place destinated ski lovers. If you’re not a huge fan of ski, you can still enjoy the trip guaranteed. Going on walks, cozying up by the fireplace and being away from the city for a little while are some of the things you’ll be gaining by choosing to treat yourself with a cabin getaway in the mountains! One thing is for sure, you’ll love the amazing and peaceful atmosphere! It’s a promise!
Dressing up shouldn’t be a concern in this situation. Choose something comfortable, but chic at the same time. Boots are an essential though, since you want to make sure you’re keeping yourself warm. The good thing is that they look pretty stylish, which is always a good thing, right? I got mine a really long time ago and haven’t really worn them before, so they were the perfect choice for completing this outfit.
My jeans are Zara and the scarf.. Well, the scarf, I stole it from my boyfriend. wink wink
